Let’s make some memories.
We believe every special event deserves nature-inspired florals that tease the senses and elevate the experience. Our DIY bulk flower program is the stress relieving, cost saving, and Mother Earth friendly floral option you’ve been looking forward.

The Details
We are happy to provide two resources, our DIY bucket stem count estimator and an FAQ document. Click these links to open and download both resources. If you are on the fence as to whether DIY florals are for you and your event, this information may help you learn more, or shoot us an email with your questions.
Bulk buckets are available May (occasionally in April depending on the weather) through the end of September (occasionally in October, depending on the weather). Flowers are hand-selected by us based on what is best-in-season and to complement each other in terms of size, form, and color. Scrolling through our Instagram or Facebook page is the best way to see what is in season.
For more information, please read our FAQ Guide on DIY Bulk Flowers. Most questions are answered in detail here.
It is important to note we are not a traditional florist - we grow the flowers, you buy them and arrange at will - it really is that simple!
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order is requested to hold your date and to ensure we do not overbook our flower availability. We appreciate your value and desire to support seasonal, sustainably grown florals!
We strongly recommend pre-booking wedding orders and large bucket orders 3-4 months in advance. However, we take orders with as little as one day to one week's notice, pending availability. We welcome ALL customers regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender identity, religion, or any other background, and would be honored to have our flowers at your special occasion. Providing flowers for life's *big* events is truly my favorite experience in this farming life, and it would be a joy to be a small part of your memories of that day.

DIY blooms are loose, or unarranged, flowers and foliage, provided to clients interested in designing their own arrangements or bouquets for their events, as gifts, or to keep in your own home! Buckets include 60-70 stems of complimentary focal and filler flowers, and foliage. Our DIY blooms are seasonally grown, meaning they include the best of what’s in season at the time of your event.

DIY blooms are generally recommended for people who gravitate towards the unique look of locally grown flowers, value the cost-savings gained with DIY flowers, and have the ability to put in the labor into creating your event florals. DIY flowers offer an incredible product for their value, and offers you the opportunity to be creative and make lasting memories with your flowers - they also require additional labor to put together, as compared to booking a traditional florist.
The aesthetic of our DIY buckets can be described as whimsical, garden-party, English cottage, eclectic, wild, romantic, French country, and rustic. A client once described our buckets to me as “Bridgerton meets the Kansas prairie.” Each flower is a conversation starter - and you are contributing to sustainable, environmentally friendly practices by buying locally grown Kansas flowers.

We offer both a growers choice (no color selection) and color-specific bucket options. For color specific orders, we work off a color palette rather than specific color names or inspiration pictures. Examples are descriptions such as white-peach-light pink or “as many bright colors as possible,” or “white, green, and pale pink.” We are sometimes limited in the colors we can provide at different times of the year (e.g., we do not typically have blue flowers in September).
We will work with you via email to gather your initial color palette, and share a picture collage proposal of our flowers meeting that palette, during the time of your event. One to two weeks before your event, we will email you a tentative harvest picture with the shades of color blooming at that time, for feedback and any editing needed. If you are wanting flowers in a specific shade of dusty coral rose, that matches a specific picture, we recommend working with a florist who can guarantee this level of detail.

The short answer is “no.” DIY blooms are seasonal, meaning certain flowers are available at limited times of the year, which is what makes them so memorable. Flowers and foliage are dependent upon what is blooming and Mother Nature's mood.
Regardless, we promise your flowers will be gorgeous and one of a kind. If you have a very specific flower request in mind, such as dahlias in May when they aren't in season, DIY flowers may not be sufficient to reach your design goals.

In order to keep our DIY bucket program costs affordable, we conduct all ordering and communication via email and do not offer phone or in-person consultations. This reduces our time labor, thus keeping our buckets affordable. We provide updates as needed via email, and a check in prior to your event to ensure everything runs smoothly.

This is a difficult question to answer - if placing a single stem + greenery in a tiny votive, then several. If making large pedestal-size arrangements, maybe one or two. Vase sizes vary drastically, as does personal style.
Generally, we say that a full bucket will make 3 small (e.g., attendant) bouquets, 4-6 well-filled Mason jar arrangements, or 15-20 small votives holding 2-4 stems each. We created this stem count estimator tool linked here to assist with estimating how many buckets you will need specifically for common wedding items.
